Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get through the poison room?

You need to send in two yellow-shirted heroes. They will automatically team up and use boosted sandstorm magic to sweep the poison away. For more details about that room, see Forest of Sorrow - Exit

How do I get through the fiery room?

You need to send in two heroes who are wearing dark blue shirts. They will automatically team up and use boosted water magic to put out the flames. For more details about that room, see Castle of Darkness - Throne Room

How do I defeat the green slime?

The green slime only has three hit points, but attacks against it will almost always miss. There might be some trick to defeating the green slime more easily, but I haven't discovered it. You can try using a light green hero to put it to sleep, or a light blue hero to freeze it. Also, I had a pink hero who hit it twice in a row. It might have been a coincidence, but maybe pink heroes are better at hitting green slimes.

New Features

Find Mii II has many of the same features as the original game, but there are some helpful new additions:

Potions

You can use a hero's turn to order a potion from the potion service. A rabbit will drop down, deliver the potion, and disappear. Keep in mind, however, that ordering a potion will use up that hero's turn, and he or she will head home after. The following potions are available:

  • Vial of Valor (8 Coins) - Calls back a hero who has left
  • Power Potion (20 Coins) - Boosts your heroes' levels
  • Dispelling Draft (2 Coins) - Blows away gas spewed by enemies
  • Bottled Barrier (2 Coins) - Nullifies enemy magic

Hiring Old Allies

Each time you play, you can use Play Coins to hire up to three old allies from your StreetPass Plaza. The cost is the level of the hero plus two, so for example, to hire a level 1 hero, you spend 3 play coins, to hire a level 2 hero, you spend 4 play coins, to hire a level 3 hero, you spend 5 play coins, and so on. You can only hire three heroes per Venture Forth session, but there is no limit to how many times a day you hire old allies. It's only limited by the number of play coins you have.

Teaming Up

Depending on the color (and possibly level) of the next hero in line, you might have the option to use your current hero's turn to team up with the next hero in line. Doing so will effectively create a new hero whose level is different depending on the combination of colors that the two heroes are wearing.

  • If two heroes of the same color team up, their levels will be added together plus one. So two level 7 heroes of the same color in a team will be level 15.
  • Two heroes of the same color will have a magic spell that is just a stronger version of the original spell. For example, two yellow heroes have a strong sandstorm attack, two dark blue heroes have a strong water attack, etc. (see the list of shirt colors and magic)
  • Heroes with similar shirt colors can team up, but might not have a magic spell available to them. However, they will have a higher level.

Similar Colors

The following heroes of similar colors can team up, but they don't get any special spells:

  • Light green + Dark green
  • Light blue + Dark blue
  • Red + Pink
  • Orange + Yellow
  • Purple + Blue

Special Teams

Certain teams of two different colors have special magic attacks.

  • Black + White - Break Shadowlight Shields

Find Mii

Find Mii (すれちがい伝説, StreetPass Legend), known as StreetPass™ Quest in PAL regions, is a stage that appears in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Stage overview[edit]

The stage has two main platforms; a larger, flat ground on the left, and a smaller, raised piece of ground on the right with a large gap in between.

Occasionally, the Dark Emperor appears in the background, then later comes to the stage, or retreats back to the background. While he is off the stage, the Dark Emperor may provide an upgrade or downgrade to certain characters; when this happens, a notification appears in the bottom screen detailing who was affected and how. In Ultimate, due to having one screen, the status effect is displayed above the character, with an icon on what stat has upgraded/downgraded. He can also fly into the foreground, damaging those he touches. After taking a certain amount of damage, he becomes defeated and flies back into the background, awarding the player who defeated him with a temporary stat boost. At times he can also make one of the two platforms temporarily sink into the abyss.

The characters that are affected by the stat-changing magic are determined as follows:

  • In SSB4, the Dark Emperor selects one character and affects all characters using the same colour of costume (for example, all characters wearing red). The color selected is denoted by the flashing lines behind the effect text. Each costume has a defined colour based on the 12 available Mii colors, which is listed on the alternate costume page.
  • In SSBU, the Dark Emperor selects characters entirely at random. One, some, or all are all possible outcomes.

A caged prince or princess Mii (chosen at random from the ones saved in the system) is positioned above the left platform. This cage is solid: it can be stood on and characters can rebound on its bottom and sides when launched. Attacking the cage makes it swing it around, and when hit enough times the cage breaks, launching the Mii off into the distance with a pseudo-star K.O. The cage later reappears, containing the same Mii. Releasing the Mii in this manner will make the Dark Emperor leave the battle earlier than usual.

Ω forms and Battlefield form[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the Ω form of this stage has a single platform with walls that extends below the blast line and resembles the main platform of the normal form. No Dark Emperor nor caged Mii appear.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Ω form and Battlefield form are similar to SSB4's Ω form; however, the main platform is resized and reshaped to match Final Destination and Battlefield, respectively. The platform also does not extend below the blast line; it now floats in place. The three soft platforms of the Battlefield form are metallic and are unique to this form.

  • Ω form in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

  • Ω form in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

  • Battlefield form in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Hazards Off[edit]

With hazards turned off in Ultimate, the Dark Emperor does not appear, eliminating his stat-changing magic, direct attacks, and platform-collapsing ability. In addition, the cage on the left side stays stationary and cannot be damaged or destroyed.

Origin[edit]

The Dark Emperor and the Castle of Darkness - Roof and Sky Tower as seen in Find Mii II/ StreetPass Quest II

The stage is based on the final area in Find Mii II / StreetPass Quest II, known as the Castle of Darkness.

At the beginning of the game, the player's Mii, who is the ruler of a kingdom, is captured. They are imprisoned in the Castle of Darkness, guarded by the Dark Lord or Dark Emperor (depending on the quest). In the normal quest of Find Mii II / StreetPass Quest II, the final boss is the Dark Lord, who is fought at Castle of Darkness - Sky Tower; in the Secret Quest of Find Mii II / StreetPass Quest II, the final boss is the Dark Emperor, who is fought at Castle of Darkness - Roof. The platform layout of the stage is identical to how the Castle of Darkness appears on the Find Mii II / StreetPass Quest II world map.

In Find Mii II / StreetPass Quest II, the Dark Emperor himself does not use magic based on the twelve Mii colors. This concept is taken from the player's team of Miis - each Mii color has access to a different magic spell, varying from direct attacks to applying status effects, some of which are mandatory for progression in the game.

In Ultimate, the sky is more darkly colored like Mirage Tower - Summit, the area's parallel in the original Find Mii.

Trivia[edit]

  • This is one of the several non-Stage Builder stages that allows Final Smashes such as Great Aether and Omnislash to turn into suicidal KOs, by sending the user and victim straight to the bottom blast line. This can only occur once the Dark Emperor causes the main platform to sink, but the Final Smash must be activated before the platform is fully offscreen, since doing it too late will result in the fighters being transported above the remaining small platform.
  • Sending the Mii cage flying before or during a time-stopping event (such as a Final Smash) can rarely make the respawned cage glitch out and constantly attempt to reposition upwards, causing the cage to wildly swing in circles.
  • In Ultimate, Nikki (due to the dark background obscuring her drawings) and Nightmare cannot be summoned from an Assist Trophy on this stage. Additionally, Moltres and Kyogre cannot be summoned from Poké Balls.
  • In the German versions of 3DS and Ultimate, this stage includes an exclamation point in its name, being the only stage with this trait.

Attack

Attack an enemy until the Mii runs away. Damage increases for every level. If you have two Miis in tow with the same color, they'll team up to allow for combo attacks and combo magic, increasing their attack power. They usually get in an extra attack as well. You can also make teams with other color combinations, such as black and white or red and pink.

Magic

Use a spell based on a Mii's shirt color:

  • Black - Covers area in darkness, only useful in bright rooms or for fighting Gold/Diamond Golems.
  • White - Bathes current room in light, only useful in dark rooms or against Reaper enemies.
  • Red - Fire attack, especially effective against blue ghosts & mummies. Two warm a frosty room
  • Blue - Water attack. Two cools a firey room
  • Light Blue - Ice magic, freezes the enemy.
  • Pink - Fills heroes with daring, raising the chance for critical sword hits, but also lowering heroes' sword accuracy.
  • Brown - Summons a random wandering hero.
  • Purple - Poison magic. Takes of 1 HP each turn to each enemy in the room.
  • Green - Strengthens next warrior.
  • Light Green - Puts the enemy to sleep.
  • Orange - Gives each hero an extra sword attack.
  • Yellow - Sandstorm, reduces the accuracy of everyone in the room (heroes included) damages Slimes. Two clear a poison room.

Get Potion

Potions are new to Find Mii II. You must exchange Coins for potions, Coins can be attained by walking around with your 3DS. You can only earn 10 coins per day.

  • Power Potion (20 coins) - Boosts your heroes' levels
  • Dispelling Draft (2 coins) - Clears gas emitted by enemies
  • Bottled Barrier (2 coins) - Nullifies Enemy Magic

Combo Attacks

You can pair certain colors of Miis together to make powerful teams that inflict higher damage and have greater endurance. If you create a team in which the heroes are wearing the same color, their magic will be intesified. If you create a team in which the heroes are simply wearing similar colors (eg. red and pink), they will be stronger but will not be able to use magic. Here are some special combinations of different colored shirts:

Mii ii find

Hey guys,

I figured I wouldnt have to ask this because It seemed like something that would be simple, but my 3DS is updated with the latest of everything and I have beaten Find Mii before, but still Find Mii 2 isn't an option anywhere and restarting Find Mii just starts the first quest. What am I doing wrong?

You need to earn all the hats from the first quest.

you have to beat it twice (unlocks all hats in part 1)

yea sucks I know

Is Metroid's gun part of his armor or is he a cyborg like Data from Star wars?
NNID: RobertTheZombie 3ds FC: 4940 - 5506 2047 PSN: bmwrp8

Beat it 2 times.

I said beat it...

A man only minds his own business if it's worth minding. The moment it becomes worthless is the moment he starts minding others.

Sweet. Thanks a ton guys, I figured i'd get the generic GameFAQs responses but then I remembered Nintendo fans are awesome and genuinely more nice XD

Find Mii II Live Main/Secret Quest Guide
DC
"Oh, no! Why is Find Mii II still under construction?"

This article is a stub. You can help Wii Sports Wiki by expanding it.

Find Mii II, also known as Streetpass Quest 2 is a game from Streetpass Mii Plaza. It is the sequel to Find Mii (on Streetpass) unlocked after beating Find Mii twice.

Plot

A chosen Mii is the king/queen of the same castle from the first game, and he/she along with 2 lookalikes with different hair styles (being the prince and princess) get captured by a mysterious force. The player must first rescue the prince, then the princess, and finally the king/queen from the mysterious force’s clutches as they battle all kinds of monsters.

Gameplay

The gameplay is essentially the same as the last games, with the same premise with moves and rpg-style gameplay. This quest is only playable after players finish the first quest twice. New additions to Quest II include the options to hire Miis previously met, combine two Miis of similar colors to form teams, and purchase various potions.

In Quest II, players have to save the Monarch yet again, as well as the Monarch's son and daughter (who all share quite the family resemblance) from the Dark Lord and his slimes, ghosts, and other monsters. This quest allows players to pick individual paths, and each path yields different hats. In order to save the royal family, the heroes must battle both old and new enemies. The quest is finished once the Dark Lord is vanquished. After Find Mii II is completed for the first time, the player is given the option to begin the Secret Quest, a harder version of Find Mii II with different rooms and enemies.

Trivia

It is the only Streetpass game that is a sequel to another Streetpass Mii Plaza game.
