Libra Kim Kardashian, Astrology And Personal Horoscope…

What can we tell from Kim Kardashian’s personal horoscope – her Birth Chart – and unique astrology?

See her birth chart below…

Kim’s Astrology

Lashings Of Lovely Libra…

kim-kardashian-astrology-faceIt’s no surprise that this gorgeous girl’s got a plethora of planets in the beauteous, Venus-ruled constellation, Libra.

Kim’s Sun, Saturn and Pluto all sit in the balanced, congenial and diplomacy-loving sign of the scales. It’s no wonder she seems to strive for harmony at home, acting as peacekeeper among her squabbling siblings.

Planet Pluto adds intensity here, so in this Birth Chart unity is all-important, this applies to romantic relationships, too.

Plus, people with this Pluto placement are prime for positions of authority – they really know how to handle the public.

Libra in Saturn is diplomatic and refined. Saturn’s links to the skeleton might also be responsible for Kim’s fine and flawless bone structure, and it’s symmetry all the way, courtesy of all that balanced, lovely Libra.

kim-kardashian-astrology-scorpioMeanwhile, Mercury sits in sexy Scorpio, indicating Kim is particularly perceptive, also sensitive, subtle and good with secrets!

Perhaps that’s why Bruce Jenner confided in Kim first and foremost about his transition to be Caitlyn – you can read an astrology analysis of that transformation here, in Bruce Jenner’s Astrology.

Uranus nearby adds originality and mental speed for an added boost of brilliance – how welcome! It indicates an independent thinker too…

Centaur Sagittarius Rising…

kim-kardashian-astrology-sagittariusKim’s got a fair share of Sagittarius the Archer in her chart, as her Rising Sign, plus Mars and Neptune signs.

This constellation accounts for Kim’s outgoing personality, which is actually pretty risk adverse and adventurous – despite the Libra veneer.

After all, she’s the one that’s carried the Kardashian franchise forward, confident in her choices and ability to succeed against the odds.

Kanye makes my list of > TOP TAURUS MEN < Find out why I don’t see Yeezus as a Gemini here…

Venus In Virgo = Picture Perfect!

Ever noticed that this star always seems groomed to perfection? Well, it’s written in the stars.

Venus in Virgo means Kim is particular about cleanliness, being neat, tidy and well, perfect! Add Jupiter and her Midheaven (Mc) to the Venus mix and they’re really sitting pretty. This combination spreads the word (Jupiter), so that Kim is known (reputation = Mc) far and wide for her beauty (Venus)…

As a Sagittarius rising Jupiter is Kim’s chart ruler, and with its placement on the midheaven this is a strong significator of fame and notoriety.

Virgo + Scorpio – Sharp Tongue…

Kim has her Venus perfectly aligned with Mercury – Venus in Virgo seeks perfection, while Mercury in Scorpio is a pretty strong placement for the planet of communication to be expressed through.

Kim finds it easy to express (Mercury) what she wants (Scorpio), although doesn’t deliver in the most compassionate way!

Why Such Scandal?

kim-neptuneIt’s where it all began, the reason Kim Kardashian shot to fame was her infamous SexTape. Can Kim’s Birth Chart reveal anything about that??! After all, it propelled her to SuperStardom!

Neptune and Mars are lurking either side of Kim’s Sagittarius ascendant. The positioning of dreamy illusionist planet Neptune can create glamour, intrigue, deception – even spiritual or guru type qualities.

It can also allude to scandalous activities (and Neptune rules film and photography too…).

Watery Neptune blurs lines, and so, with the planet of disillusion sitting in the area of the chart governing appearances, thing might not be what they seem – those who meet Kim will be struck with a impression that might be confused: a glamorous glaze washed over how she greets of the world.

How To Handle The Moon…

Looking at Kim’s chart below you can see all of the planets mentioned here are directed and reflected by Kim’s dreamy and creative Moon in Pisces, like a prism of light.

This type of chart pattern is common and is called a ‘bucket shaped chart’. The ‘handle’ of the bucket is Kim’s Moon, which means everything in her life is directed, emphasised and possibly motivated by theMoon.

Interesting thatthe Moon represents family, in particular mother, nurturing and home. Kim is not just an individual – she’s got a whole troop as back-up – the Kardashians!

With this super focus in place I bet hands down Kim will makes an intuitive and kracking mom!

Moon in Pisces people are also drawn to bathrooms…

Libra Fashion Style

Like most Libra ladies, Kim looks gorgeous in clean neutrals and soft pastels: pinks, creams, baby blue, and other sorbet shades.

This sign should try Grecian Styles out for size.

Kim get’s this right on the red carpet, as she’s often seen in gorgeous gowns with a goddess vibe, or a Greek edge: asymmetrical, one shouldered dresses.

Streamlined and sleek is best for Libra – avoid too much ‘flamenco’ flounce or florals.

Venus In Virgo Style

Virgo colours are caramel tones and earthy shades, which Kim’s also drawn to…

A complete list of the Kardashian-Jenner zodiac signs — and what astrology claims about each family member

  • The Kardashian-Jenner family has built its legacy on sharing personal details.
  • People are endlessly fascinated by their personalities and relationships.
  • Fans may also be curious about their zodiac signs. For example, Kylie Jenner is a Leo and Kendall Jenner is a Scorpio.
  • While astrology is just for fun and is not supported by scientific evidence, keep reading to see the Kardashian-Jenner star signs.
  • Visit Insider's homepage for more stories.

The Kardashian-Jenner family has built its legacy on sharing personal details. But while social media posts and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" can offer fans a closer look at each woman's personality, it's impossible to truly know the famous family's dynamic.

Astrology, however, claims to give that additional insight. Here are each of their zodiac signs and what it may say about the Kardashian-Jenner women.

Kris Jenner is a powerful and ambitious Scorpio.

kris jenner
Jason Merritt/Getty Images

As a Scorpio, wielding power comes naturally to Kris Jenner. Famously the matriarch and "momager" of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, she has her finger on the pulse in every family drama.

Because they are experts at controlling the narrative and spinning public perception, Scorpios can be manipulative and self-interested. But they are also determined and sensitive with a fighting spirit — and oftentimes an excellent instinct for business.

Caitlyn Jenner is also a Scorpio.

Like her ex-wife, Caitlyn Jenner has the ability to become a master manipulator. As a Scorpio, she finds it easy to command attention while still maintaining an aura of mystery and intrigue. Scorpios can keep a secret like no other sign in the zodiac; they tend to exert lots of energy in order to control how people perceive them.

Scorpios can also be extremely competitive. They want to be considered the best in their field and many are masterful in their chosen disciplines. This is a symptom of the sign's determination and ambition — but also feeds the classic Scorpio desire to be seen as powerful.

Kourtney Kardashian is an assertive and opinionated Aries.

kourtney kardashian
Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images

As multiple storylines on "KUWTK" have clearly revealed, Kourtney Kardashian isn't afraid to dig in her heels. Like a true Aries, she can be snarky and stubborn, adhering to her own self-defined moral compass.

Aries is a sign that commonly toes the line: between confidence and insecurity; maturity and childishness; independence and codependence; valuing freedom and desiring control.

As the first sign in the zodiac, it is commonly seen as the most fluid and changeable, susceptible to mood changes.

Rob Kardashian is a private and idealistic Pisces.

rob kardashian
Paul Zimmerman/Getty Images

Rob Kardashian is a Pisces, which is widely considered the most private and reserved sign in the zodiac. True to form, Rob has shunned the spotlight more than anyone else in his family. Pisceans don't tend to be standoffish, but they do like their privacy; they are sensitive to energies around them and can easily become exhausted by sensory overload.

Generally, Pisces is a receptive and gentle sign. They make good listeners and generally give excellent advice. They can also, however, become observant to the point of feeling isolated or disconnected. Their idealistic and emotional natures can cause them to feel misunderstood or easily taken advantage of.

Like her parents, Kendall Jenner is an influential and magnetic Scorpio.

Kendall Jenner
Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images

As a Scorpio like her mother, Kendall Jenner is naturally magnetic. Scorpios can often be seen as aloof and difficult to approach, but they are paradoxically impossible to ignore, often becoming an object of fascination.

Despite this intimidating exterior, Scorpios are known as deeply emotional. They can feel controlled by their feelings and compelled to seek approval from others. Scorpio has a tendency for obsessive or self-destructive actions, but these scorpions are constantly trying to self-improve.

Kylie Jenner is a proud and popular Leo.

kylie jenner
Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Although she is the youngest in her famous family, Kylie Jenner has arguably managed to surpass her sisters in prominence — and certainly in the world of finance. Like a typical Leo, she has a knack for commanding attention and setting trends.

Leo is often seen as the natural leader of the zodiac. Leos can be demanding and set very high expectations for both themselves and for others, which makes them appear high-maintenance or dramatic.

They are commonly stereotyped as vain, self-important, and attention-seeking, but they are also generous and extremely protective of their loved ones. In reality, these lions are defined by their confidence, loyalty, and warmth.

Zodiac kim kardashian

While 2021 has already been a v long year, there’s one celeb news story kinda breaking the internet. We’re talking, of course, about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce. After literal months of rumors, on February 19, TMZ, Page Six, and E! News reported that Kim has officially filed for divorce.

Between Kanye West’s brief, controversial 2020 presidential campaign and Keeping Up With the Kardashiansannouncing its final season, the couple that was once deemed Calabasas royalty (source unavailable) has encountered some major shifts over the past 12 months. Because, you know, the stars are just like us! (Except for the whole private island thing, that is.)

So what do ~the stars~ (the other kind) have to say about the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West dissolution? Let’s check in with astrology!

This content is imported from {embed-name}. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.

Saturn’s Seven-Year Itch

On May 24, 2014, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian married in a modest 200-person wedding in Florence, Italy. No need to touch that calculator: This year, Kanye and Kim would be celebrating their seven-year anniversary.

You may have heard of the “seven-year itch” (made popular by Marilyn Monroe’s iconic 1952 film of the same name)—the idea that after seven years, a marriage or romantic partnership begins to lose its luster. From an astrological POV, however, the seven-year itch corresponds with Saturn’s cycle.

Saturn, the planet of lessons, restrictions, and—yes—commitments, has a 29.5-year orbit (sound familiar? That’s when you complete your first Saturn Return). Every seven years, it completes a quarter of its journey, marking an important time for review and negotiation. It’s normal to find ourselves backing out of binding contracts at this time, especially those involving romance.

On Kim and Kanye’s wedding day, Saturn was located at 19º Scorpio. Scorpio (along with Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius) is one of the fixed signs of the zodiac, and it symbolizes deep intimacy. On December 17, less than a week before Kim showed off a wedding-ring-less finger on Instagram, Saturn drifted into Aquarius, preparing to form a “square” (a 90º angle, associated with tension in astrology) to the position of Saturn in Kimye’s wedding chart. TL;DR: This narrative will probs continue to build as Saturn inches forward.

However, Saturn will not create an exact square with Kimye’s wedding chart until February 2022, so I would not be surprised if it takes another year for the divorce to be finalized. And that totally checks out, because sorting out $70 million of homes, art, jewelry, and (allegedly) livestock can’t happen overnight. Totally relatable!

The Gemini-Sagittarius Eclipses

Born on June 8, 1977, Kanye West is a notorious Gemini, the air sign associated with communication, spontaneity, and duality. What’s more, although we don’t have his time of birth, we know that his Moon sign—the celestial body that symbolizes emotions and inner truth—is Pisces, the water sign connected with profound sensitivity. Gemini and Pisces are both mutable signs, which means they’re inextricably linked. In other words, when one of these signs is activated by a planet’s motion in the sky, so is the other.

Kim Kardashian is a Libra, born October 21, 1980. But her Rising sign (the zodiac sign emerging on the eastern horizon at her exact time of birth) is in Sagittarius, the fire sign connected to philosophy, education, and travel. (Side note: The combination of her Libra Sun—symbolized by the scales of justice—and Sagittarius Rising is pure lawyer energy!) Kim’s Sagittarius Rising plays a pivotal role in her relationship with Kanye, because Sagittarius is Gemini’s opposite sign and, you guessed it, it’s also mutable.

But wait! There’s more! Just like Kanye, Kim was also born under the psychic Pisces Moon, which not only indicates a powerful synchronicity between their emotional states (for better and for worse) but also means that Kim’s inner world is linked up to all this mutable action.

So, the divorce: Beginning last summer, the solar and lunar eclipses began activating the Gemini-Sagittarius axis. Eclipses are powerful lunations that catalyze long-lasting, permanent change relating to destiny (you know, NBD). On June 5, November 30, and December 14, 2020, the solar and lunar eclipses electrified the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. (And yes, in case you were curious, Kim’s Venus—the planet of love and values—just so happens to be in Virgo, while her Mars—the planet of action—is in Sagittarius.)

With Kimye’s collective Sun, Rising, Moon, Venus, and Mars electrified by these Gemini-Sagittarius eclipses, these major lunations are generating shock waves across every aspect of their lives, both separately and together. Eclipses in this series will continue throughout 2021, with the next lunar eclipse on May 26, 2021, and the next solar eclipse on December 4, 2021. This pattern shows us that the lowly public hears about Kimye drama approximately one month after the eclipse (Kanye’s July Twitter drama unfolded a few weeks after the first eclipse in this series, while news about the reported divorce began circulating a few weeks after the December 14, 2020, solar eclipse.) I would expect to receive major updates about the Kim and Kanye breakup in June 2021 and January 2022.

So, what now?

Although those wily Kardashian-Jenners certainly know how to generate buzz, the timing of this news makes astrological sense. Looking at Kim’s and Kanye’s charts, it’s clear that this relationship, which also just happens to be on the verge of experiencing its first Saturn square, is experiencing some heavy renegotiation. While Kimye may have broken up for good, we’ll always have the “Bound 2” music video. Ah, the good ol’ days!

Sun 28°29' Libra, in House XI

Sun Aspects
Sun conjunction Pluto orb +6°31'
Sun inconjunction Moon orb -0°19'
Sun semi-square Ascendant orb +0°14'
Sun semi-sextile Midheaven orb +0°02'
Sun semi-sextile Jupiter orb -0°23'

The Sun represents vitality, individuality, will-power and creative energy and honours. For a woman, it also represents her father, and later her husband. The Sun is one of the most important symbols in the birth chart, as much as the Ascendant, then the Moon (a bit less for a man), the ruler of the Ascendant and the fast-moving planets.

It's element is fire; it is hot and dry, it governs Leo, is in exaltation in Aries and is in analogy with the heart. It represents the boss, authority, beside the father and the husband ; the age of the Sun goes from 20 years old to about 40, following the Venus age when one is aware of his seductive power.

Temperament: Bilious

Characterology: Emotive, Active, Secondary, passionate type.

For more information, see the page dedicated to the Sun.

Sun in Libra

You are naturally sociable and you need harmony and alternatives in your life. You loathe violence and you appreciate flexible and balanced behaviours. Who mentioned hesitation? Actually, you prefer to ask yourself questions rather than to answer them. You always put off your decisions in order to keep all your choices open. But appearances may be misleading: Libra is often more determined than she may seem. Certainly, the sign’s sociability is legendary. Libra’s flexibility is unparalleled, she is even-tempered, capable of bringing harmony into a team and dispelling tensions… She is very sensitive regarding her balance. You do not mistake black and white, yes and no. If Libra is so anxious to listen to all opposing parties and to examine all the different possible options, it is often with a view to better decide. Without this ability, there may be a danger that you indulge in dubious adherences, or even in dishonest compromises. Your forte is probably that you allow antinomical alternatives to be expressed, as long as it is necessary, until a clear decision can be taken.

Sun in House XI

With the Sun in the 11th House of your natal chart, you are able to recreate the world, provided that you can rely on loyal friends. Your idealism prompts you to give of your best to great causes, and to believe in the virtues of friendship, dedication, and universal love. So many disillusions lie ahead of you! But also so many hopes and so many moments of exaltation! In some way, you feel that your mission is to change other people's life in order to enliven them and to restore hope. Friendship rules!

Sun Dominant

If the Sun is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Solarian: you loathe pettiness and Machiavellian manoeuvre, and you are fond of natural nobleness as well as of direct and honest attitudes. You endeavour to get out of muddled or dark situations as quickly as possible. Your need for transparency may lead you to make cut-and-dried judgments such as yes or no, and black or white. However, your honesty commands your entourage's consideration. At times, you come across as authoritarian. It is true that you never want to be thought of the notable absentee, and that you manage to make people pay attention to you, as well as to your plans and your assessments. To this end, the Solarian sometimes develops a great talent for placing himself under the spotlight without missing a single opportunity to arouse interest. Some other Solarians, although more discreet, still manage to be the focus of any debate, even in situations of exclusion. It is your way of being present even though you are actually not there... More than other people, you appreciate the esteem extended to you. It is useless to cheat with you, since in all areas you consider establishing enduring relationships only with those who love you, admire you, respect you, or express some degree of affection to you. Your will to straighten out your inter-personal relationships is your strength and sometimes, your Achilles' heel. You cannot achieve anything behind the scenes. Therefore, your comportment is marked with heroism, and your stands are devoid of ambiguity, in the sense that your commitments are unfailing, and your rebuffs, final.

Interpretation of the 28° Libra symbolic degree

"In a thick wood, by a deep pond, a young man lies on the grass with a book in his hand. A few sunbeams shine through the trees." (Janduz version)

Melancholic, romantic, and humble character. One amasses a great deal of knowledge and becomes an expert in one's field, but one is determined to stay out of the spotlight. If in the natal chart, the Sun or Mercury is strong, this degree indicates that intellectual undertakings bring about outstanding success.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

She symbolizes the mother, wife, the crowd, the Moon is associated with birth and childhood. Tradition also matches her with the end of life, after Saturn the old age, it is thus customary to go back to one's place of birth to die: the end of life meets the very beginning.

Temperament: Lymphatic

Moon in Pisces

On the day and at the time of your birth, the Moon was in the sign of Pisces. Letting go is the best way to find tranquillity. You are a loner and you find peace in isolation and contemplation. You may feel that only you can understand the elements of your intimate life. It is probably due to the peculiar nature of your sensitivity. Your intuition provides you with pieces of information that remain out of your entourage’s reach. Your receptivity emphasizes the selective character of your behaviours: not everyone can become a close friend and your entourage must respect the precious moments of forgetfulness and indifference that are necessary for your balance. Your life rhythms are marked by your detachment from customs and outdated habits. You often go off on your own! You don’t mind it, because real serenity can exist only if you live according to your inner demands.

Moon in House IV

The Moon is in the 4th House. Feeling fine means enjoying at will the privacy of your family cell, your clan, or a protective world. Your intense desire for tranquillity often prompts you to escape the world, and to let your imagination wander without having your well-being disturbed by external issues. Your family, or the few close friends who make up your second family, if any, constitutes the haven which is necessary for your balance.

N.B.: When a planet is posited near the cusp of the next astrological house (less than 2 degrees for the Ascendant or the Midheaven, and less than 1 degree for all the other houses), it is considered to be posited in the following house. This rule is used in the texts of this interactive chart and in all our astrological softwares.

Moon Dominant

If the Moon is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Lunarian: the driving force behind your actions is mainly the pursuit of well-being and tranquillity. Your sensitive and romantic self lives on those periods of rest during which you let your imagination wander at will. This is your way of finding inspiration and balance. Nothing is allowed to disturb your feeling of fulfilment and security within a harmonious cell, be it a family or a clan. More than other people, the Lunarian is attached to those moments during which one forgets one's worries and lets oneself cast adrift aimlessly, with no other goal than to be lulled into an ambiance, a situation, or a perfect moment. Many people do not understand such absences and their meaning, which is to regain strength. These people readily describe you with such unflattering terms as apathy and nonchalance. Never mind! Some inspirations require surrendering as well as striking a balance derived from alternate action and passivity. Your qualities are expressed to the fullest in situations which demand familiarity and privacy. Your capacities to respect and blend into your environment is at least as valuable as some other people's aggressive dispositions. However, you are well-advised to avoid indolence and renunciation out of laziness or indifference.

Interpretation of the 28° Pisces symbolic degree

"A seer with tousled long hair gesticulates in the street while in the temple, a priestess predicts his future to a young man." (Janduz version)

Wise, ambitious, and altruistic character endowed with psychic gifts. Researches in chemistry, medicine, or political sciences are rewarded by a prize or some high distinction, but they also arouse many petty jealousies and slanderous campaigns.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Mercury semi-sextile Neptune orb +0°46'
Mercury semi-square Saturn orb +1°07'
Moon trine Mercury orb +8°20'

Mercury represents communication, logical and rational mind, intellectual skills. Earth is its element, it is cold and dry, and it rules Virgo and Gemini, is in exaltation in Virgo and is in analogy with the arms, hands, nervous system.

It represents tradesmen, lawyers, messengers; the age of Mercury goes from 8 or10 years old to about 15..

Temperament: Nervous

Characterology: Emotive, non Active and Primary type or Non-Emotive, Active and Primary, Nervous or Sanguine type.

For more information, see the page dedicated to Mercury.

Mercury in Scorpio

Mercury describes your relationships, your communication skills and the way you relate to the external world. However, other astrological elements also influence these areas. The sign your Mercury occupies is significant only if Mercury is part of your planetary dominantes. In your chart, Mercury is in Scorpio. Your mind is curt, critical and controversial. You readily question the basis of your knowledge and you need to understand the hidden meaning of all information as well as the stakes underlying human relationships. Nothing is simple. You may be cynical or provocative when you want to find the true nature of the persons around you. Communication means understanding the inner mechanisms of a personality, even if it implies hounding your interlocutor into a corner. Love or hatred, never mind! The only important thing is to never remain indifferent.

Mercury in House XI

With Mercury in the 11th House, you seek intellectual contacts and friendships based on common centres of interest. Love may be platonic, and relationships, idealistic. You communicate in order to build a better world, at least at home, or at your door. Projects, such as promises and commitments, abound... But how many of them will materialise? Making friends is a game you are crazy about. This is fine, provided you are wary of superficial relationships.

Mercury Dominant

If Mercury is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Mercurian: the tradition points out the importance of communication. From idle but enriching chatters to observation gift, such a dominant endows you with a wide range of expression. Human beings have one thousand facets and one thousand masks they wear according to circumstances and the fortunes of the game of life. You take the role of an observer who is avid for novelties, discoveries, and surprises. Everything catches your attention and becomes an opportunity for new encounters, relationships, and learning. The world amazes you, amuses you sometimes, and stimulates your curiosity. Because the most important thing is to discover, and because you consider that each new situation is packed with potentialities, you try to fill the gaps in your knowledge. Although your open-mindedness may scatter your centres of interest, it also enables you to carefully avoid sticking to only one immutable and rigid view. The slightest sign enables you to perceive the other side of the coin, as well as the infinite complexity of people and of situations. On the human plane, you seek the dialogue and the information without which you know that you are not able to fully grasp the nature of your interlocutor. This keen interest in the Unknown sharpens your inter-relational skills. All these qualities are traditionally associated with Mercury.

Interpretation of the 19° Scorpio symbolic degree

"On the seashore, a man riding a camel gazes in amazement at the sun rising over the horizon." (Janduz version)

Proud, independent, and fair character attracted to oriental matters. Success and fame can be achieved in politics and/or reforms and discoveries, particularly if the Sun is strong in the natal chart. This degree heralds that the greatest honours are granted, and that all ambitions are fulfilled, even the wildest ones.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Venus 19°36' Virgo, in House IX

Venus conjunction Midheaven orb +8°50'
Venus square Ascendant orb -5°52'
Moon opposite Venus orb -8°33'
Venus conjunction Jupiter orb +9°15'
Venus sextile Uranus orb +4°36'

Venus represents the way one loves, relationships, sharing, affectivity, seductive ability. For men, she also corresponds to the kind of woman he's attracted to (but not especially in marriage which is more symbolized by the Moon, Venus is the lover and not the wife). Her element is the Air, she is moist, rules Taurus and Libra, is in exaltation in Pisces and is in analogy with the kidneys, the venous system, the bladder, the neck.

She represents the artists, tradesmen, occupations linked to beauty and charm; the age of Venus goes from 15 to about 25 years old.

Temperament: Sanguine and Lymphatic

Characterology: Emotive, non Active and Primary type or Emotive, non Active and Secondary type.

For more information, see the page dedicated to Venus.

Venus in Virgo

Venus describes your affective life. On the day of your birth, she is found in Virgo. The control of your emotions is essential to you. You need to understand all the aspects of your sentimental life. Therefore, you do not commit your affectivity in tortuous or hazardous paths. This attitude may be interpreted as a form of reserve, of modesty or of shyness. You complicate your amorous relationships for fun… Moderation in all things, even and particularly in love! Appearances are misleading: your behaviour may seem cautious, even shy or timid, however, your affectivity is strong… Your heart is discreet and its impulses are controlled and moderate. You do not want your relationship to run out of your control. Your soul is loyal, you are helpful when necessary and you avoid crises, clashes and tragedies in order to not endanger your couple. You are keen to maintain the balance of your unions. But, as you strive too relentlessly to keep your happiness intact, you may lose it. You do not dare to play the games of passion and of love at first sight. You fear burning feelings. In these conditions, it is important that you do not smother your emotions and you take the risk of experiencing a passionate love. Feelings cannot be calculated and they obey very few laws.

Venus in House IX

Venus expresses her characteristics through the 9th House values. Love is not a deadlock, but a path which always promises new emotions and affective discoveries. It is probable that you tend to idealise your couple's relationship. Feelings enable you to go beyond your own self. With love, you excel yourself, you escape from reality, and you travel. Your philosophy is based on pleasures, emotions, and the attachments of the heart. Long live newness! It is with exotic flowers, and not with daisies, that you play love me-love me not. Indeed, your affectivity lives on the explorations which always provide new dimensions to your emotional life, as if everything were to be discovered and shared.

Venus Dominant

If Venus is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Venusian: you are a sensual and emotional person particularly receptive to the natural likes and dislikes aroused by your contact with people. You are prone to frequent instinctive aversions and true passions which are exclusively driven by the feeling of love. The heart has its reasons which Reason knows nothing of... Your balance is based on the richness of your affective life. Without love, the Venusian is resourceless, lost, and deprived of any reason for living. You have an obvious and strong will to charm and to arouse the attachments without which you cannot properly function. Every area of your life is thus marked by your affectivity. The danger is that you may "be taken in" by charm. In such cases, you would prefer to keep your emotions under better control. Thus, hyper-sensitivity has its own inconveniences. Nevertheless, better than anyone else, you know how to play with feelings and attractions. Although you are sometimes caught in the traps of an over sensitive emotionalism, feelings remain your best assets in many circumstances. There is another aspect to the Venusian dominant. According to the Tradition, this planet rules the Arts, and you are endowed with some degree of artistic dispositions, ranging from good to excellent.

Interpretation of the 19° Virgo symbolic degree

"Two men cross swords without noticing the masked man who watches them across a hedge. Further down, a sparrow hawk chases a rat." (Janduz version)

Inventive and honest character always ready to defend one's rights and the laws in general. Although not particularly quarrelsome, one never hesitates to fight back whenever one is attacked. Ingenious reforms and inventions aiming at putting an end to entrenched routine bring about success, fame, and financial gains, but also... jealousy. All go-between occupations are very favoured, including those of arbiter or mediator. Unless Jupiter and Mercury are posited in Virgo in the natal chart, and Jupiter rules the Descendant, it is advisable to avoid travelling to foreign countries because one may undergo serious accidents, treachery, political or religious conflicts, and be injured by secret enemies. Happiness and wealth are most likely to be short-lived and followed by sorrow and regrets.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

If you wish, you can receive immediately in your mailbox your detailed astrological portrait, a nice gift for yourself or for your close friends and relatives, who will deeply appreciate it.

With Mars in the 12th House, the sense of danger is not part of the arsenal of your qualities. You do not hesitate to take action even though you do not know clearly where you are heading for. Sometimes, you let yourself be guided by a premonition or a vague impression. Then, you leave no stone unturned without fearing the consequences of your deeds. This configuration describes activists, mystic campaigners, and pioneers of the unknown. You do not shirk from sacrifices when you deem that the cause is just.

Mars Dominant

If Mars is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Marsian: in your hand-to-hand struggle for life, you demonstrate an acute and active sense of confrontation with the world, with other people, and with your own destiny. You need to take action and to fight for your projects and your desires. You perceive all situations with deep intensity, and you react to the here and now without bothering to step back in order to ensure that events are under your control. You take up challenges with excessive foolhardiness as a consequence of your impulsiveness. However, better than anyone else, you know how to mobilise your resources in case of crisis. You take action whenever it is necessary to do so, and you are present in a timely manner. With Mars, your attitudes are dictated by the realities of the moment, by your emotions, and by everything which proved to have worked in the past. When this dominant is not well integrated, it may bring about an aggressive or impulsive behaviour. Therefore, you must learn to control your hyper-sensitivity and your fits of temper. You are also endowed with Marsian qualities: the fighting spirit and the taste for duel without which one may find oneself overwhelmed by events. When this willpower is well channelled, its precious energy enables to cope with all sorts of contingencies. There are a thousand ways to win, and a thousand challenges to take up with the enthusiasm and the dynamism which make life so worthy. A certain idea of life which is wild, passionate, and in tune with events.

Quiet, contented, and hard-working character. Occupations in the industry of cattle breeding and all agricultural products are very favoured. One is happily married and enjoys a fulfilling family life.

Moon opposite Jupiter orb -0°42'
Jupiter conjunction Saturn orb +4°49'
Sun semi-sextile Jupiter orb -0°23'
Venus conjunction Jupiter orb +9°15'
Jupiter sextile Uranus orb -4°39'

Jupiter represents expansion and power, benevolence, large vision and generosity. Its element is Air, it is hot and moist, and it rules Sagittarius and Pisces (along with Neptune), is in exaltation with Cancer and is in analogy with the hips and endocrinal system.

It represents the governors, magistrates, professors, religious men too; the age of Jupiter goes from 50 to 55 or even 70 years old.

Temperament: Sanguine

Characterology: Emotive, Active, Primary type; it is an extrovert Choleric. Actually the humid version of Mars, inclined to action like him.

For more information, see the page dedicated to Jupiter.

Jupiter in Virgo

The planet Jupiter symbolizes expansion, broadness and generosity. Jupiter is associated with the functions of synthesis, enthusiasm and optimism. In your natal chart, his house position is more important than his sign position because, like Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, he is a slow planet. Many people born in the same period have Jupiter in the same sign. This is the reason why the sign occupied here is less meaningful than when it is occupied by the so-called fast planets, i.e. the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Therefore, some caution is to be exercised as you read what follows. Jupiter in Virgo gives you a talent for work, for practical activities and a higher than average dexterity. You have a strong sense of duty. You are very appreciated in your work environment because you are a perfectionist. The Tradition underlines that all the fields related to health and physical wellbeing are favoured.

Jupiter in House X

Jupiter is in the 10th House. There he is, the "Greater Benefic", Jupiter, culminating in the middle of your natal sky. A good star, as the Tradition has it. It is most likely that your adaptation faculties and your enterprising mind do not go unnoticed. People trust you and open doors for you, or at least, keep them ajar. Here as elsewhere, nothing is gained effortlessly. Nevertheless, enthusiasm and optimism favour successes. The only danger is that you may think too big!

Jupiter Dominant

If Jupiter is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Jupiterian: because this planet brings about a keen interest in social and professional success, the Tradition considers it to be beneficial. Indeed, you know how to adjust to events and to jump at the chance when it arises. The members of your entourage gladly entrust you with high responsibilities because they are often impressed by your learning skills and your adaptation abilities as you deal with new structures and new languages. What is the secret of your good star? It is your self-confidence which wins public support. Now, what is the secret of your charm? Definitely, enthusiasm, euphoria, and exaltation. Exaggeration also. When this dominant is well integrated, it is a factor of affluence and optimism, and a certain degree of joviality enables you to easily fit into various spheres. It constitutes your main asset to manage your life. However, you must at times curb your desire for integration, lest your sense of opportunity turns into extreme opportunism. Here also, the key to success lies in a correct estimate of everyone's chances and possibilities. Although management is one of your forte, and you can adjust your objectives to current realities better than other people, you lack the hindsight which enables you to avoid short-term vagaries and daily fluctuations. If you strive too much to adapt, you run a risk of betraying yourself. This is the other traditional side of the coin with "The Greater Benefic"!

Interpretation of the 28° Virgo symbolic degree

"A cardinal wearing an amethyst ring stands by the French window of a bishop's palace and watches the rain fall on the garden." (Janduz version)

Altruistic, austere, and resilient character. One is a loner and enjoys spending long moments pondering in solitude, but one also appreciates attending formal glamorous ceremonies. Thanks to a vivid imagination, one is capable of achieving great creative works. There may be a strong religious vocation. If in the natal chart, Mars is prominent, there is a tendency towards violence. If Venus is strong, this degree indicates that intense sensuality is reined in by self-control. The constellation “Argo Navis” gives a deep interest in education, favours knowledge amassed through journeys, and underlines the influence of altruism, faith, and philosophy.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Saturn in Libra

The planet Saturn symbolizes contraction, effort, time, limitation and concentration. Saturn eliminates anything that is not authentic, sooner or later. It is impossible to cheat him as he gives an irresistible desire to form a coherent whole with oneself, in responsible and wise ways. He is the great purifier. He represents our limitations but also our truth. In your natal chart, the house position where Saturn is posited is more important than his sign position because, like Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, he is a slow planet. Many people born in the same period have Saturn in the same sign. This is the reason why the sign occupied here is less meaningful than when it is occupied by the so-called fast planets, i.e. the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Therefore, some caution is to be exercised as you read what follows. Saturn in Libra gives you a serious and solemn nature. You may be tough in your contacts: you naturally focus on the essential and you have no concern for the charm you could display. You are irritated by flatteries or by thoughtless compromises. You are genuine and you value justice and authenticity.

Saturn in House X

With Saturn in the 10th House, your vocation is to deepen, to discover, and to invest in long-term projects rather than to be tempted by the illusion of the moment. You may be criticised for the other side of your personality, which includes rigour, austerity, and an exceedingly realistic mind. However, your capacity to question things, as well as to question yourself, constitutes an efficient asset. You draw the lesson from a setback, and you grow as your researches unfold, and as your experiences develop. These qualities are fully expressed in the professional area. You progressively reveal your worth, even though it means that you show your qualities later than other people usually do. You are demanding towards your partners as much as towards yourself. This feature, along with your tenacity, enables you to grow in spite of, and probably thanks to, setbacks, unfortunate experiences, and aborted undertakings. When this configuration is well-aspected, it endows you with seriousness and reliability, which the members of your entourage can but acknowledge and esteem. To know how to properly run one's life means also, and above all, to learn how to draw the lessons from experiences and facts.

Saturn Dominant

If Saturn is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Saturnian: you gladly leave to other people the decision to take life as it comes. As far as you are concerned, you prefer to take advantage of your experiences in order to discover, to grow, and to question yourself.

Interpretation of the 3° Libra symbolic degree

"A disheartened man looks on his broken plough while an elegant man on a limping horse comes towards him." (Janduz version)

Methodical, affable, and obliging character. Nevertheless, excessive kindness may lead to trust unworthy people and thus, to miss good opportunities. One is urged to identify past mistakes, learn from them, and start afresh on more suitable bases. Otherwise, life is bound to be precarious and fraught with ordeals and hardships.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Uranus sextile Midheaven orb -4°14'
Venus sextile Uranus orb +4°36'
Jupiter sextile Uranus orb -4°39'

Uranus represents individual freedom, originality, independence, marginality, avant guard inspiration, ultra modernism. Fire is its element, it is dry, and it rules Aquarius, is in exaltation with Scorpio and is in analogy with the brain and the nerves.

It represents inventors, odd characters, revolutionaries.

Temperament: Nervous to the extreme

Characterology: Emotive, Active, Secondary type; it is a Passionate type.

For more information, see the page dedicated to Uranus.

Uranus in Scorpio

The planet Uranus symbolizes originality, independence and cerebral energy bursting suddenly. Uranus triggers the irresistible need for freedom that we have in ourselves. Uranus tends to break the constraints that have become unbearable and gives us the courage and the will to get rid of what has become a burden; when he is well aspected, he also indicates genius. In your natal chart, Uranus’ house position is more important than his sign position because, like Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto, he is a slow planet. Many people born in the same period have Uranus in the same sign. This is the reason why the sign occupied here is less meaningful than when it is occupied by the so-called fast planets, i.e. the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Therefore, some caution is to be exercised as you read what follows. The sign positions of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto have a collective meaning. They do not influence your personality, unless they are involved in numerous aspects or when they emphasize a personal point of your natal chart such as your Ascendant’s ruler, an angular planet, i.e. a planet near the Ascendant, the Midheaven, the Nadir or the Descendant. In such cases, the activity of the slow planet is very highlighted. Uranus in Scorpio reinforces your sexuality in cerebral and erotic ways, detached from all affectivity. Your passions and your emotions may have such a strong mental nature that you may be criticized for your cruelty.

Uranus in House XII

With Uranus in the 12th House, you set high standards for your ideals. Beyond self-interests and frenzied individualism, you look for a reason for living, for a model, or for a guide. You are open to revelations which may radically change your manner and your life. A clap of thunder out of the blue... Your marks crumble, and new convictions crop up. This is a U-turn! However, you must be wary of all kinds of fanaticism.

Uranus Dominant

If Uranus is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Uranian: personal values are prevailing. Inner certainties fuel an inflexible will and a desire to call attention on yourself as well as to follow your beliefs through. This planet prompts you to behave with determination, to put forward your own truth, and to start your personal revolution. More than other people, you are willing to keep some degree of autonomy in all circumstances, and you often display an individualistic nature. In order to achieve your ideal of freedom and independence, you may act like a despot as you try to convince and to impose your views, whether smoothly or forcefully. Regardless of the flexibility of your comportment, some situations demand an absolute firmness as well as uncompromising, frank and straightforward attitudes. People may criticise you for your intransigence and say that you are a hardliner. Outsider's opinions don't matter! The most important thing is that you act in all conscience and reach your primary objectives. More than anyone else, you know how to use your willpower and to focus your energy on a precise aim, relentlessly, whatever the consequences might be. In the chapter of qualities, let's mention a definite sense of responsibility, an innovative mind open to techniques and modern ideas, as well as a natural self-discipline which overcomes many an obstacle. Therefore, people are well-advised not to hound you into a corner.

Interpretation of the 24° Scorpio symbolic degree

"A man swims in rough seas." (Janduz version)

Generous and courageous character determined to brave any danger in order to help one's fellow creatures out of a difficult situation. Although no gratitude is expressed by the persons rescued, one continues to lend a helping hand to people in need. So much selflessness arouses public esteem and respect. However, one must beware of jealousy, hypocrisy, and slanders.

Water is its element, it is moist, it rules Pisces, is in exaltation in Cancer, though some authors say it is Leo, and is in analogy with the vegetative system.

Neptune in Sagittarius

The planet Neptune symbolizes extreme receptivity, intense emotional sharpness, impressionability and inspiration; it is the planet of mediums, mystics and religious faith. In an astrological chart, it indicates dilution, vagueness, understanding one’s environment through emotions and the absence of clear and determined limits and structures. In your natal chart, Neptune’s house position is more important than his sign position because, like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, he is a slow planet. Many people born in the same period have Neptune in the same sign. In such cases, the activity of the slow planet is very highlighted in many regards. Neptune in Sagittarius may turn you into a monk, a visionary, or an active idealist willing to change the world. Rebellion and inspiration at the service of a sacred cause: here is an example that could describe accurately this planetary configuration.

Neptune in House I

Neptune is in the 1st House. The most important thing is to follow the inspiration of the moment when you face new situations or people. Reason has little influence on your reactions. You prefer to leave it to your intuition to tell you what your aptitudes are, according to your innermost convictions and to the sometimes muddled feelings of the moment. Therefore, your discoveries may be experienced in an almost miraculous way. However, your beliefs sometimes turn into mirages or illusions.

Neptune Dominant

If Neptune is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Neptunian: your intuition is highly developed. You are of a contemplative nature, and you are particularly receptive to ambiances, places, and people. You gladly cultivate the art of letting-go, and you allow the natural unfolding of events to construct your world. You follow your inspirations, for better or for worse. At times, you display an extraordinary clairvoyance gift. You seem to be able to read your subconscious like a book, and you track down subtle underlying mechanisms, flaws, or open breaches. This innate intuition might explain the strokes of good luck which the Neptunian is sometimes credited with. However, you may also be the victim of illusions and misleading intuitions. You are an idealist, and you let your deepest aspirations prevail over the realities of the moment. Then, you set off in quest of some quixotic objective, living like a Don Quixote who relentlessly pursues an impossible dream. You have a great talent for psychology and the mysteries of the human soul. Since you instinctively perceive people's intents and motivations, as you swim in the complexity of human nature, you feel in your element. The subtlety of your perceptiveness is the source of both special affections and irrevocable rejections. What is the danger of such a dominant? If it is not offset by other influences in your natal chart, you may not have an iron will. Your trump card is your instinct, which may be developed to the extent that it becomes clairvoyance.

Interpretation of the 20° Sagittarius symbolic degree

"In front of two intertwined triangles surmounted by a third one, a magus wearing his sacerdotal headdress utters an incantation." (Janduz version)

Withdrawn, contemplative, and spiritual character endowed with powerful psychic powers. One revels in solitude and avoids socialising. Success and fame can be achieved in human sciences or in research. However, one is unlikely to become very rich. If the natal chart indicates dishonesty, this degree may describe a charlatan.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Pluto 21°58' Libra, in House X

Pluto Aspects
Sun conjunction Pluto orb +6°31'
Neptune sextile Pluto orb -1°22'
Mars semi-square Pluto orb -0°10'

Pluto represents deep transformations, mutations and eliminations, sexuality and magnetism, power and secrets, destruction with a view to regeneration, the phoenix rising from the ashes. Its element is indefinite; burning (like lava in fusion ?), it rules Scorpio, is in exaltation in Pisces and is in analogy with the sexual organs and excretion.

It represents dictators, sadistic people, violent characters, is instinctive and powerful but also mysterious with hidden strengths.

Temperament: rather Bilious

Characterology: Emotive or non-Emotive, Active, Primary type; it is a Passionate Choleric type.

For more information, see the page dedicated to Pluto.

Pluto in Libra

The planet Pluto symbolizes deep disruptions and upheavals, domination and sexual instincts, and the inner power we have in ourselves. Pluto destroys in order to reconstruct and he provokes painful crises that are needed in metamorphosis. Pluto is our deepest instincts’ brutal force. It is the hidden and unconscious violence that can explode in us with incredible intensity before being projected in our actions; in itself, the planet is not negative: the might and the intensity of its energy are beyond the conceivable but it can be funnelled. Pluto is the only possibility we have at our disposal to overcome our inner blocks and to eliminate outgrown situations that have become inextricable. Pluto’s energy is valuable because of its usefulness for the irreversible destruction of what constitutes a problem and not because of its negative side and its perversity. Pluto allows to reconstruct and to regenerate parts of our personality or whole stretches of our life, provided that we manage to funnel his wild energy and to step back. It is impossible to tame this energy, given its essence. However, it is possible to take advantage of it for a precise aim, through a temporary identification of some parts of us with this energy. In such a case, the outcome is our final evolution and even, our transformation. In your natal chart, Pluto’s house position is more important than his sign position because, like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, Pluto is a slow planet. Many people born in the same period have Pluto in the same sign. They do not influence your personality and they are not to be really taken into account, unless they are involved in numerous aspects or when they emphasize a personal point of your natal chart such as your Ascendant’s ruler, an angular planet, i.e. a planet near the Ascendant, the Midheaven, the Nadir or the Descendant. In such cases, the activity of the slow planet is very highlighted. Pluto in Libra intensifies your charisma and… your domination. Yet, you influence your entourage in charming and magnetic ways.

Pluto in House X

With Pluto in the 10th House, you often play your game well when you face a situation of crisis or a muddled environment. In the professional and social areas, your progression is special and subtle. The art of manipulation behind the scenes turns you into an efficient and formidable partner. You intervene in the dark, far from social niceties. You easily detect weaknesses and false values, and you carry out your work with clear-sightedness, aiming at your self-interests, and with a scheming mind.

Pluto Dominant

If Pluto is part of your natal chart's planetary dominants, in astrology, you are said to be a Plutonian: you sometimes feel like a foreigner who does not belong to the world, to its laws, and its concerns. The rules of life in society are not necessarily yours. You are interested in what is unknown and in the subtle laws of a hidden order. So, you take malicious pleasure in ridiculing the patterns you find too simplistic or too rigid. You also revel in underlining the limits of explanations you deem too common. There is something unconventional about the way you are, the way you think, and the way you act. What is your specificity made of? Is it an extraordinary partner? A life off the beaten path? Or do you only distance yourself from conventional morals? In any case, you have the feeling, sometimes quite vague, that you come from nowhere, and that you do not belong to any definite group... In short, it means that you cannot be simplified in order to conform to existing models. The gap between you and ordinary mortals is also an element of your strength. Your deep clear-sightedness, firstly, enables you to put things into perspective and to grant them only the attention they deserve. Your other remarkable asset is your capacity to intervene from behind the scenes, to secretly organise events, and to bring about the desirable outcome without seeming to impose or to dictate anything. However, you must still overcome one of the major difficulties of this dominant, which is to get people to accept your difference and to smoothly fit into your environment.

Interpretation of the 21° Libra symbolic degree

"A man sleeps on the grass with several pouches of silver by his side, while his horses are waiting." (Janduz version)

Neglectful, unwise, and unrealistic character. As one readily flaunts one's wealth, one is bound to be taken advantage of by friends and relatives. However, since one is intelligent and hard-working, one manages to be successful and to achieve power.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Chiron is almost renowned and used everywhere. Most astrologers consider it as a kind of "mediator" between Saturn and outer planets. Consequently, Chiron is of Saturn's nature and at the same time is influenced by Uranus, the first slow-moving planet. Astrologically, it symbolizes wisdom, patience and the faculty to reduce others' sufferings: it is said to be the "great healer" of the zodiac. Like all the secondary bodies, it must be in close conjunction with planets or angles in order to fully express its action.

She's also known as Demeter, according to the astrologer Zipporah Dobyns, linked to the symbolism of the mother but in a less emotive and more physical way than the Moon. Ceres is thought to be the ruler of Virgo, in exaltation in Gemini, in exile in Pisces and in fall in Sagittarius. True North Node 17°33' Я Leo, in House VIII

The North Node (True Node here) represents the goals that must be achieved during life, in the karmic sense according to some traditions. Its position in house indicates in what field an effort is necessary in order to evolve. The North Node is often called the Dragon's head, it is usually considered beneficial, a bit like Jupiter with the planets. The Lunar nodes are fictional points and not actual heavenly bodies: they are the intersections of the Moon with the Ecliptic (the path made by the Sun in its orbit as seen from the Earth). The axis of the Lunar nodes moves 19 degrees each year, namely a bit more than three minutes each day.

The South Node is diametrically opposed to the North Node, therefore it faces it (it's not drawn here, it's the same symbol but upside down). It symbolizes what has already been achieved or acquired, in a karmic sense: it's the past from which it's advised to move on in order to progress. The South Node is rather negative, of a Saturnian nature: the experience through suffering.

Interpretation of the 17° Leo symbolic degree

"Sunrays are reflected by a mirror lain on a table near a key." (Janduz version)

Pleasant, gentle, and generous character endowed with extremely bright intelligence and high creativity. One has a keen interest in religion, ancient myths, and scientific research on light and rays, and amasses an exceptionally broad general knowledge. One achieves success and fame through one's career and earns people's admiration for one's humanitarian work. This degree often describes good-looking persons whose moral standards may not be too strict. If the natal chart points to thwarted intellectual abilities, this degree indicates a lazy and self-centred person driven by an intense desire for luxury and superficial things.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

True Lilith 29°49' Я Libra, in House XI

Lilith or the Dark Moon (True Lilith here) represents the uncrossable threshold, taboos, the individual's provocative and fascinating side, including on a sexual level. She symbolizes violence and "untameability", the radical and deep-seated refusal to submit. The keywords for Lilith can be sterility, sadism, perversity, castration, sadomasochism, eroticism, orgasm, forbidden fantasies, marginality, cruelty; redemption, illumination, rebelliousness... Lilith's opposite point is called Priapus; it is the Lunar perigee, the position where the Moon is closest to the Earth. It symbolizes man's primitive nature, the horror hidden in our deepest self; masochism, extreme sensuality, impulsiveness, irrationality and excess. Physically speaking, the Dark Moon is the focal point unoccupied by the Earth: it is not a concrete body but a mathematical point.

Interpretation of the 29° Libra symbolic degree

"In a clearing, a man lying on a heap of clothes notices neither the sparrow hawk gliding above him, nor the wolf and the snake ready to attack." (Janduz version)

Reckless, lazy, and carefree character devoid of discernment capacity. One is unable to properly analyse a situation, and one feels in security even though danger is lurking. Friends are driven by their self-interest and give bad advices, which bring about misfortunes of all kinds, physical, financial, or affective ones.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Fortune 13°24' Taurus, in House V

The Part of Fortune is an ancient concept, used by Ptolemy and other astrologers before him. Firstly, it has nothing to do with fortune! In modern astrology, it is actually used to enhance a planet or angle when in close conjunction with it: it thus amplifies the meaning associated to the point affected by its presence. It is calculated in the following way:

Part of Fortune = AS + Moon - Sun (it is the Moons position when the Sun rises)

The classical Part of Fortune, of which the calculus method is unchanged whether in a diurnal or nocturnal chart, is usually distinguished from the diurnal/nocturnal Part of Fortune which is calculated by the formula AS + Sun - Moon for a nocturnal chart, and AS + Moon - Sun in a diurnal chart.

We currently use the latter formula for our astrological programmes.

For more information, see the page dedicated to the Arabian parts.

Interpretation of the 13° Taurus symbolic degree

"Measuring devices are tidily kept in a small carpenter shop. The door is wide open, but a strong man blocks the way with a long rod he holds across the entrance." (Janduz version)

Humble, accommodating, and hardworking character. One appreciates well-done work and dedicates one's life to other people. Endeavours aiming at defending the cause of justice and fraternity are fully rewarded. The man with the rod symbolises a protection against hatred and negative forces. This degree endows with great moral authority and, at a higher level, gifts for occultism.

Ascendant 13°44' Sagittarius

Ascendant Aspects
Neptune conjunction Ascendant orb +6°51'
Mars conjunction Ascendant orb +6°56'
Sun semi-square Ascendant orb +0°14'
Venus square Ascendant orb -5°52'

The First House or Ascendant represents one's behaviour in the eyes of others, and also one's health. It corresponds to the way the individual acts in the world. It is the image of the personality seen by others and the person's visible behaviour expressed outwardly. The 1st House is in analogy with Aries and thus Mars too, and then the Sun. It is an angular house, the most important one with the Midheaven, maybe even more so due to its link with the body and health.

Ascendant in Sagittarius

Your psychological nature is extroverted and independent, oriented towards expansion and sociability. You have the soul of a leader, energetic and active. Your charisma and your drive are fully integrated in the collective life. Indeed, as an action-oriented fire sign, you challenge yourself and succeed in accomplishing the task straight away. Sagittarius is hard to follow because his spirit and his independent mind constantly lead him to go further and higher.

With this Ascendant, you come across as charismatic, fiery, energetic, likeable, benevolent, tidy, jovial, optimistic, extraverted, amusing, straightforward, demonstrative, charming, independent, adventurous, straightforward, bold, exuberant, freedom-loving.

But you may also be irascible, selfish, authoritarian, inconsistent, unfaithful, brutal, unreliable, reckless, tactless or disagreeable.

Interpretation of the 13° Sagittarius symbolic degree

"After having shot an arrow, a horse rider clings to the neck of his mount in panic." (Janduz version)

Intelligent, enterprising, and pleasant character. Although good ideas abound, they require thorough analysis and organisation. Projects are nicely put forward, but their implementation is handicapped by unpreparedness, and solutions to cropping problems seem to be adopted at random. One must seek the advice of a friend or of one's spouse. Partnerships and teamwork are the key which opens the door to success, honours, and fame.

Midheaven 28°27' Virgo

Midheaven Aspects
Jupiter conjunction Midheaven orb +0°25'
Moon opposite Midheaven orb -0°17'
Saturn conjunction Midheaven orb +5°14'
Sun semi-sextile Midheaven orb +0°02'
Venus conjunction Midheaven orb +8°50'
Uranus sextile Midheaven orb -4°14'

The Tenth House still called the Midheaven, is the highest point amidst the houses, at the top of the chart, in the South, and relates to destiny in general and career (and not daily work as meant by the Sixth House). The Midheaven represents our achievements and goals in the social sphere, our social position in society, and becomes more and more important as we get older. It is in analogy with Capricorn and Saturn. The Tenth House is the most important angular house along with the Ascendant.

Midheaven in Virgo

You are well-organised, methodical, hard-working, concentrated, and discreet, and you do not like to take risks. You tend to underestimate your own worth, and therefore, you occupy positions which are too modest for you. But it is your personal choice, and this is how you can have the feeling that you keep full control of the situation. Furthermore, your will to constantly improve yourself enables you to make up for lost time. In the second part of your life, it is most likely that you eventually spread your wings and soar up to the place which your qualities deserve.

The following professions are most likely to suit you very well: architect, industrial designer, watchmaker, computer specialist, scientific expert, mathematician, librarian, banker, chartered accountant, financial officer, stockbroker, shopkeeper, secretary, executive assistant, household aide, cleaner, social worker, civil servant, breeder, medical practitioner, pharmacist, veterinarian, physiotherapist, medical assistant, as well as Minister for Health or for Finances.

All occupations in education, agriculture, or driving an animal, a car, or a tank, are favoured. Vertex 29°31' Cancer, in House VIII

The Vertex, sometimes called counter-Ascendant, is a fictitious point which is at the intersection of two great circles, the Ecliptic and the great vertical circle (Prime Vertical) in the West of the birthplace, linking the East, the Zenith, the West, and the Nadir. It is always located in the West of the chart around the Descendant. It is the chart's fifth angle, so to speak, less important than the other angles. Its interpretation is controversial, because certain astrologers pay no attention to it.

The Vertex is sometimes considered to be the second Descendant because, like the latter, it is related to communication and exchanges. It has to do with associations and fated encounters, those that are not chosen, and reveals the type of sensitivity and reactivity we have in our dealings with other people: a refined and tolerant way in Libra, straightforward and spontaneous in Aries, etc.

Interpretation of the 29° Cancer symbolic degree

"In a field bordering the seashore, a young horse raises its head as it trots with its halter hanging loosely. A ship sails towards the horizon." (Janduz version)

Passionate, independent, and intuitive character. One is a freedom-lover and uses one's bright intellectual faculties to do good because one is driven by a strong sense of justice. Feelings may prevail over reason. Life is clouded with uncertainties and instability, but ordeals are overcome with remarkable courage and self-confidence. Occupations related to seafaring and water are very favoured.

East Point 28°41' Sagittarius, in House I

The East Point is a fictitious point at the intersection of two great circles, the Ecliptic and the great vertical circle (Prime Vertical) in the East of the birthplace, linking the East, the Zenith, the West, and the Nadir. It is always located in the East of the chart, around the Ascendant.

The East Point is sometimes considered to be a second Ascendant, less important, but also related to how one is seen by other people, and to how one expresses one's personality.

Interpretation of the 28° Sagittarius symbolic degree

"A man does somersaults in a hay field while a hare runs away." (Janduz version)

Childish, unstable, and timid character. Success can be achieved in modelling, coaching, or attending to the needs of wealthy people. Elegant sports such as golf or horse riding are also very favoured. Should the natal chart concur, there may be a disease affecting the brain.

N.B.: symbolic degrees belong to a branch of fatalistic astrology. Their interpretation must be regarded with the utmost caution, especially given the fact that different authors give different meanings to symbolic degrees. This is the reason why they are not included in our Astrotheme reports.

Astrologers Predicted Kim and Kanye’s Divorce Years Ago

As one of the most famous couples in the world, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's relationship has always fascinated astrologers. In my astrology class many years ago, my teacher Annabel Gat printed out their charts. Did we assess they would break up around this time? Yes. Was I happy to hear this? No.

See, I've always rooted for Kimye (personally and as an astrologer) and after almost a decade of watching their romance play out, it's hard to imagine their marriage ending — no matter what the haters say. They gave my Gemini Sun hope that we could be understood, seen, and loved throughout our endeavors!

RELATED: Why I'll Always Root for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

So, upon hearing about their alleged impending divorce, I (along with many other astrologers) turned to the stars to understand the gossip circulating all over the internet. Here are the key dates in their relationship timeline: The pair met in 2003, became friends in 2008, started officially dating in 2012, got married on May 24, 2014, and Kim has reportedly filed for divorce on February 19, 2021. By looking at the astrological aspects that were happening throughout the course of these dates and applying them to their personal birth charts, as well as their composite chart, aka the chart of their relationship itself, we can discover a lot about Kimye's relationship — and what might come next.

First thing’s first, are they astrologically compatible?

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, here are the basics. Kim was born on October 21, 1980 at 10:46 AM in Los Angeles, California. That means she has a Libra Sun, Pisces Moon, with a Sagittarius ascendant. Kanye was born on June 8, 1977, at 8:45 AM in Atlanta, Georgia. That means he is a Gemini Sun, Pisces Moon, and has a Cancer ascendant.

RELATED: Here's Why Sun Sign Compatibility Isn't Everything

In looking at their "Big 3" (sun, moon, and ascendant), they're extremely compatible — which is part of what makes their breakup so hard for astrologers to swallow. Both have air sign Suns, which means that they love to converse and exchange ideas. Their Moon signs (which denote their emotional nature) are both in the water sign Pisces, which means they understand each other's moods, memories, and can intuitively understand each other. It also means that they wanted to build a home and family together. Their ascendant signs (Sag and Cancer) connect by a quincunx, which is a 150° angle formed by planets five signs apart with orbs of up to 3°. My takeaway? While they are very different people, they were meant to learn from each other.

Cosmically speaking, they were destined to come together.

No matter how one spins it, Kim and Kanye were meant to be a couple based on the times they met and got married. Their marriage and impending divorce were written in the stars.

When they met, Kanye's Saturn aligned with transiting Jupiter in Leo, which means he felt an immediate attraction and connection. As for Kim, she was having luck around romance, as Jupiter connected with her North Node of Destiny, which was in Leo. (For those who don't know, the Nodes of Destiny are the lunar nodes of the Moon which cite the karma and fate that you'll be working with during its 1.5 stint in each sign.) Translation: This was an instant attraction. They knew they had the feels for each other and their first meeting set the course for the rest of their relationship.

... But they were also destined to split amicably.

In 2003, when Kim and Kanye met, Jupiter was in Leo. This year, Jupiter is in the opposite sign of Aquarius. This is often a frustrating time, but not a time of emotional devastation, which urges me as the astrologer to believe that the decision to possibly end their marriage is mutual.

According to Kanye's birth chart, his natal Saturn is in Leo which will oppose transiting Jupiter in Aquarius. This alludes to legal action, which could very much be the dissolution of their marriage. On the flip side, Kim is having more of an energetic release from her chart, with Jupiter aligning with her South Node of Destiny in Aquarius. In other words, from Kim's chart, she's letting go on good terms.

Nodal energy shaped their entire relationship.

In May of 2020, Kimye started to have a Nodal Return of their first meeting back in 2003. This acts as a marker at the beginning and possible end of their relationship (with the North Node in Gemini and the South Node in Sagittarius). This transit in the same signs occurs every 18 years.

And, in 2012, when they made their relationship official, that was the halfway mark of their relationship. This means that they were having their Nodal Opposition (the North Node was in Sagittarius and the South Node was in Gemini). This energy aspected Kim's seventh house of partnerships, squared her Venus (planet of love), and her Moon (planet of comforts and security). So, there was major activation around love and relationships.

For Kanye, it connects with his Sun and Jupiter in Gemini, making their relationship feel abundant and prosperous. Also, this energy squares his Moon in Pisces, which means that like Kim, there is action being taken around their domestic life. This all adds up since, in late 2012, the couple announced they were expecting their first baby.

In 2014, when Kimye got married, the Nodes of Destiny were in Libra and Aries. They were aligned with Kim's Libra Sun and Kanye was having his Nodal Return. Again, we see another nodal connection. In the composure chart (when looking at a composite chart in astrology, the most important focus is the ascendant because this shows how two people relate to each other and the world as a couple), their joint ascendant is in Libra. Being that the composite ascendant is the midpoint of their two charts, combined as one, it means that their union was meant to be.

Last year, the Nodes of Destiny were in Cancer and Capricorn, which means that there was a nodal square to these points that added stresses to their partnership — which we all saw play out in headlines that the pair were 'leading separate lives' and struggling with Kanye's very public mental health struggles.

What’s in the stars next for Kimye:

Now, let's talk about the Saturnian energy which will happen in the future. The Saturnian energy that's coming to Kanye's chart is real. It will be a cosmic wake-up call for him. And, he'll be sad that they are done. But, importantly, he won't cut the cord on their friendship.

RELATED: Your 2021 Horoscope By Zodiac Sign

In the next year, Kanye will embark on his Saturn opposition, which squares the degrees Saturn was transiting when they got married in 2014. This will create a T-Square between his natal Saturn in Leo, transiting Saturn in Aquarius, and Saturn in Scorpio (Saturn was in Scorpio when they got married). A T-Square is a fraught energy that creates a planetary opposition and two planetary squares. It's a time of action and change of plans. Being that this is occurring with the commitment planet Saturn, it could very well dictate the slow end of their marriage. However, this will also keep them in each other's lives. After all, Saturn is a commitment planet and is the glue that holds people's charts together. Things may get messy, which is expected in a divorce. However, I predict it won't elevate to peak drama between the two.

Here's the tea you all want to hear, according to my perspective as a professional astrologer. Do I think that Kimye will remain on good terms? Yes. I predict they will be lifelong besties and even spark rumors of a reconciliation in the years to come (if they ultimately decide to get divorced). No matter what happens, these are two people who are and were meant to be in each other's lives no matter what. It's their destiny.
