UFIT’s Charged Printing service provides UF students, faculty, and staff with the ability to print to over 50 locations on campus from their personal computer/mobile device or UF workstations in libraries and learning spaces. 

We offer both black & white and color printing.  Large format poster printing is also available in certain locations.  Please visit our locations page to see what services are offered at each site.  


Mobile Printing

Need to print from your own computer or mobile device? Please visit MobilePrint at https://mobileprint.at.ufl.edu/ and log in with your GatorLink credentials.

Student Printing and Technology

Using your UFL email address:

Open a new email and address it to [email protected]

In the subject line, specify whether you want it to print 1-sided, 2-sided, or color using the options listed below. Please note that this is case sensitive. 

P: 1 Sided
P: 2 Sided
P: Color

The LIC does not have a color printer. The closest printing location with a color printer is Library West.

Attach your document or type the message to be printed in the body of your email.

Using a non-UFL email address:

If you want to use an email account other than your @ufl.edu account, you need to register that email address in order for the printing system to correctly identify you. To register go to https://mobileprint.at.ufl.edu/registeremail/ and enter your email address and your Gatorlink credentials.

When emailing your print job, it may take five to ten minutes for the print job to process. Larger documents take more processing time.

Health Science Center Libraries

We offer regular printing, copying and scanning at the HSC Library, and 3D printing and 3D scanning at the HSC Library and other select locations.


Cost

  • Black/White 2-sided: $.08 per side ($.16 per page)
  • Black/White 1-sided: $.08 per page
  • Color laser printing: $.75 per page

Printing fees are charged to your Gatorlink account. You will be e-billed at the end of the month under ‘miscellaneous’ charges for Academic Technology printing. These charges will show up on your Student Financials account in MyUFL.

How do I check my charges?

To view your charges, visit my.ufl.edu and navigate to “My Campus Finances”

Want to print from your laptop or mobile device?

Visit print.at.ufl.edu. Choose your printing method (upload file, web print, email print, driver print). Walk to the print release station and release your job. Pay any charges via MyUFL.

How to print from a library computer

  1. Select ‘Print’ from your application (Word, email, browser, etc.)
  2. Choose the type of printer you want to use:
  3. Go to the print release station, enter your Gatorlink username and password to release your job.
  4. Pay any charges through MyUFL.

All branches have a scanning option for guest users (anyone who is not a current UF student, faculty or staff member). Please visit any service desk for more information.


Scanning

We have a wheelchair accessible KIC Bookeye scanner on the 2nd floor and flatbed scanners available throughout the library. A KIC Bookeye Scanner is a digitize-on-demand system for books, magazines, and journals. Please contact the Information Desk for additional information.

3D Printing

Available at the Health Science Center Library, the Education Library, and the Marston Science Library.

UF Document Services has the technology to print color copies on most types, weights and sizes of paper. A wide-format printer produces posters and banners with high-resolution images in vibrant colors. Image technology and customer service combine to assure customers the finest product at the lowest price. We can also put the finishing touches on projects with folding, stapling, laminating, and binding services. A graphic artist is also available to assist with design and layout to make any project a success.

Document Services is located at 3030 Radio Road on the Southwest portion of the campus between Elmore Hall and Facilities Services. Lakeside Residential Complex is directly across the road. Visitor parking is available for free in front of the building.

Print Lab

MAIN LOCATION:Reitz Union, Lower Level

The SG Print Lab houses PCs and printers that currently enrolled UF students may use to print up to 250 pages for FREE each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer).
Print balances are applied during the breaks between semesters, usually the week before classes begin.

During the breaks, the SG Print Lab is closed; however, the remote print sites will remain available (with the exception of maintenance windows). During breaks, pages printed will apply to the upcoming semester’s allocation of 250 pages.
